This
exhibit is made possible by IKARUS Art Gallery, a collection of Hispanic
artists in Hempstead. The works reflect
the diversity of Hispanic culture and includes a variety of styles and subject
matter.
The artists
are pleased to share their works with the village and have made them possible
in an effort to integrate art into the everyday workspace and to bridge the gap
between art and community. It is their
hope that this work will help to make our village spaces feel more intimate and
connected and to uplift, enlighten and engage our spirits.
The exhibit
is curated by Jorge Alberto Guzman, the founder and president of the IKARUS
gallery cultural program, Inc.
