Tus Alternativas (Your Choices)
Es una obra que busca crear en el espectador un momento de reflexión en torno a niñez y juventud proyectando la temática de la superación como una de sus alternativas para triunfar en la vida y la responsabilidad de integrarse al activismo social para dar continuidad al legado que las presentes generaciones están realizando para crear un mejor mundo para ellos.
Adicionalmente a sensibilizar el medio ambiente y entorno donde se elaborara la obra, resulta necesario hacernos la pregunta? Que hacemos o que podemos hacer por las nuevas generaciones y de quien es la responsabilidad?
El marco de trabajo con el que se espera realizar esta obra comprueba con hechos que unidos se pueden obtener resultados y trabajar por una causa en común.
Un grupo de artistas pertenecientes a una nueva generación de emigrantes con visión social que busca aportar un grano de arena para construir un mundo mejor. Juntos dicen presente y mandan un mensaje de apoyo a las nuevas generaciones y esperado motivar a todas las partes que conformar la comunidad en Long Island.
Descripción
El mural esta integrado por piezas para formar un todo de 9” x 32”. Un background, azul verdoso y amarillento en solidaridad a la campaña mundial contra el recalentamiento global
En la obra aparecen rostros de niños con inocentes miradas y las de jóvenes con expresiones de incertidumbre que proyectan no visualizar un futuro cercano para ellos y que hace pensar que se encuentran solos, como dentro de una burbuja – la cual representa su propio mundo aislado del resto de la sociedad, la cual se encuentra representada por estructuras de edificios que la simbolizan y en la cual se encuentran inmersos. La burbuja descansa sobre los hombros de una tortuga que deja entrever la lentitud o burocracia de la sociedad e instituciones practican para abordar o mitigar problemas sociales de la coyuntura actual.
Los rostros incorporados de jóvenes son la representación de la diversidad cultural que conforma la sociedad de Long Island.
Un Horizonte que proyecta el camino y futuro cercano para las nuevas generaciones por afrontar. En el se encontraran las alternativas y dependerá una toma de decisiones lo que defina el caminos a seguir. Si es la acertada el joven podrá convertirse en una perfecta ave y libre para levantar el vuelo por si solo y se un hombre de bien para la familia y sociedad. Si se elije el incorrecto no será ave, mas bien un mediocre, un muostro o parasito social. En la vida siempre se tiene una segunda oportunidad, de haber elegido el camino de la violencia. Renunciando a ella se puede ser un mejor ser humano para benefician de la familia y no ser una carga social. El muro de las limitantes esta presente, para simbolizar todas esas desavenencias que en la vida se encontraran pero con voluntad y decisión son superables, contando con el apoyo de la familia, principios y valores.
La alternativa de buscar una preparación académica, no renunciar a la oportunidad de estudiar los llevara a alcanzar su superación y a vislumbrar un mejor futuro. En cambio si renuncian a ello, el joven puede caer en las redes de la calle y lo que ellos implica: Violencia, drogas, cárcel y hasta la muerte, etc.
Globos en el firmamento que puedan representar la alegría de haber alcanzado una meta como la de obtener un titulo universitario o destinar un globo para alegrar el cielo, como tributo a los niños y jóvenes que no pudieron hacer realidad su sueño gracias a la mano y egoísmo del hombre, guerras, hambruna, pobreza, contaminación, deforestación, etc. Que son un atentado contra la misma especie humana.
Problemas que también los jóvenes de hoy tendrán por delante y en su momento afrontar para que igual que hoy. Muchos trabajan por legarles un mundo distinto al que vivimos, por ellos. Así ellos también deberán hacer lo mismo por las otras nuevas generaciones que vienen. Trabajar por un mundo mejor.

It is an exhibit that looks to create in the expectance of reflection around childhood and youth projected by the thematic of self realization as one of the alternatives to prevail in life and the responsibility to integrate ourselves to social activism to give continuity to the legacy that the present generations are realizing to create a better world for them.
Additionally, to sensitize the environment and surroundings where the exhibit will be elaborated. It is necessary to ask the question, what do we do or what can we do for the new generations? And whose responsibility is it?
The work frame with which it is hoped to complete this work verifies, with facts, that unity can obtain results by working for a common cause.
A group of artists pertaining to a new generation of immigrants with a social vision that looks to contribute a grain of sand to construct a better world. Together they say: “we are present” and they send a support message to the new generations in hopes to motivate all parts that conform the community in
Description

In the work there appear children with innocent faces and those of youth with expressions of uncertainty that project not to visualize a near future for them and who make us think that they are alone, as in within a bubble - which represents their own isolated world from the rest of society, which is represented by structures of buildings symbolizing that in which they are immersed. The bubble sits on the shoulders of a turtle that represents a glimpse of slowness or bureaucracy that society and institutions practice to approach or to mitigate social problems of the present conjuncture.

A horizon that projects the path and near future for the new generations to face would be the alternatives and would depend on decisions made which defines the ways to follow. If it is the right one, the young person will become a perfect bird and free to raise the flight by himself and be a righteous man for the good of the family and society. If he makes the incorrect decision, he will not be a bird of flight, but a mediocre, a monster or social parasite. In life there is always a second opportunity. If you have chosen the way of violence, resigning to it is possible in order to make you the best human being you can be for the blessing of the family and not to be a social burden. The wall of the obstacles is present to symbolize all those disagreements that will be found in life but that with determination and decision may be overcome counting on the support of the family, principles and values.
The alternative to look for an academic preparation, not giving up on the opportunity to study will take them to reach their own success and to visualize a better future. However if they resign to it, the young person can fall in the net of the street and what they imply: Violence, drugs, jail and even death, etc.
Balloons in the firmament that may represent the joy of having reached a goal like the one of obtaining a university title or to destine a balloon to cheer the sky, like tribute to the children and youth who could not make reality their dream thanks to the hand and selfishness of man, wars, extreme hunger, poverty, contamination, deforestation, etc. That is an attack against the same human species.
Problems that also the youth of today will have ahead, and at the time will have to confront so that just as today, many work to bequeath a world to them different from which we lived. So they also will have to do the same for the other new generations that come, to work for a better world
