Congratulations for the excellent event and for supporting the Hispanic community, its culture and the arts.


To the artists, thank you for your support and willingness to contribute and share your talent allowing us to meet one of our objectives "Projection and promotion of Hispanic arts and culture." CITATION

WHEREAS, the Town of Hempstead does desire to recognize all auspicious events and occasions; and

WHEREAS, the Town of Hempstead is proud to recognize all outstanding individuals who have rendered significant contribution for the enhancement of our township; and

WHEREAS, American of Hispanic heritage have made significant contributions to their nation and their community, earning the respect of their fellow Americans; and

WHEREAS, the Town of Hempstead desires to acknowledge all individual whose dedicated efforts toward the betterment of the quality of life of the Hispanic community have made a difference: and

WHEREAS, the Town of Hempstead in proud to recognize Jorge A. Guzman for his significant contributions as Latino art Exhibit Curator to the success of the Town of Hempstead’s Celebration of Hispanic Heritage Month;

NOW, THEREFORE, I Supervisor Kate Murray, do hereby present this citation to JORGE A. GUZMAN on the occasion of the Town of Hempstead’s gala celebration of Hispanic Heritage Month.
